last night i finally bought a new pair of eye glasses. and fyi i did
not buy the red one. i just could not settle.  what i bought is a brown
one [that ironically, looks like red in the photos]  but i am happy
with my purchase.

xmas party for our scholl will be tonight. the
original plan was to hold the party tomorrow. i dont know what happened
but i got a call a little after 8pm last night and was told that they
date and venue had been changed.

i will probably not have a lot
of time to blog once we are in pinas [as if i have a lot of time to
blog now].  but i will check the blog from time to time, to maybe see
if there are still people who *SOB* remember me.  ha ha, drama.

i
am a little hesitant to post my email here but anyways, here goes.  for
those who want to send me something, anything [except SPAM] then here
it is:

katebiz@gmail.com

so, with that…

merry christmas guys!!!

I lost my funky glasses a couple of days ago,  I did not blog about it right away because:

1. I was hoping to find it

2. If it was [I did not know it then] indeed lost, it was just to painful to deal with it

Sigh.  I loved my eyeglasses.  It was a perfect fit, and well a bit expensive. Waaah.

So I went back to the store where I got it from to see if they still have eyeglasses similar to the one I lost.  The salesperson said yes, so for a while I was like, wheeew!!!!  But what I saw at their  shelf disappointed me to no end.  Yeah, it was he same kind, only the frames were red.  Darnit! RED!!!

Allan was urging me to buy the glasses because

1. he said he thought it was silly to buy something new that looked exactly like the old one [oh boy did he think wrong]

2. he said red fits me well

3. he knows I would not settle to buy another kind [knowing that I could sometimes be oc-oc]

so I guess the next time you see me I would:

1. wearing my old glasses [the framelss one]

2. wearing a new one, totally different style and color

3. or wearing the red one

dang, I have a funny feeling it will be C.

bored to the bones, that’s what i am.  let me see, there are 8 more days before my flight to bangkok and then approximately 4 hours before the flight back to pinas.  so there. okay, enough of the going home blogging for now.  too much already.

something unsual happened over the last two days.  something i have not done in over three years in thailand.  . .  . drum roll please….

i helped , no scratch that, i did the laundry. hand washing at that.  it was horrible. ha ha.  not that allan forced me to do it. i mean if i had to do a household chore to save the world, i would be more than happy to pick out ironing. washing the dishes and doing the laundry are [to me] at the same category as life imprisonment and death sentence. ha ha. oa.

most of my classes are cancelled today. all my morning classes from tomorrow until friday have also been cancelled.  ah, there is a GOD :D  that would leave allan and i more time to tidy up the house. i don’t want to leave the house all messy and smelly.  with only a week to go, we are doing things one step at a time.

we cooked bulalo yesterday. dang, i did not know it took 4 hours to cook that thing.  but really, it was worth it.  oooh.  bulalo. my mouth is watering just by the mere mention of it.  tsalaap!

could it really be just 12 days?  *jumps up and down ith excitement*

there is nothing much to tell nor is there anythingi more exciting [to me, that is] than the fact that it is less than 2 weeks before i hear jeepneys, see mongol pencils, wolf down a bowl of lomi, and other things that i have missed so much about pinas. but anyways, let me give it a go.

this week has been anything but hectic.  we had two days off because of the king’s bday and then another two days [sun-mon] because of a school affair.  now, i don’t know if that should make me happy. you see,

free time + kai = shopping [in other words gastos]

allan and i have been trying to avoid bangkok and major shopping malls, but to no avail. sigh.

so, i was just wondering, who else is going home for the holidays?

gimme a holler!
